California Here I Come

Ett McAtee

Sides Face, Grand Square
When wintry winds start blowin' around
And snow starts fallin' without a sound
That's when my eyes look westward bound
Allemande Left your Corner, you Weave that ol' Ring
Since I have been away from you
I can't wait to Promenade home to you
California, I've been blue
California, here I come!

California, here I come
Right back where I started from
Where bowers of flowers bloom in the spring
...
A sunkissed maid said "Don't be late!"
Swing and Promenade, I can hardly wait
Please, oh please, open up that Golden Gate
California, here I come!

I promise, when I get there we'll go out on a date
That's why I can hardly wait
Birds out there are singin' at everything
...
California, you are great
Open up, now open up that Golden Gate
California, here I come
California, here I come!

Heads/Sides Promenade halfway, here I come!
Walk right in, Pass the Ocean there, Extend
Swing Thru, go two by two, and Boys Run Right
Bend the Line, a Right & Left Thru, turn your girl tonight
Pass the Ocean now, Recycle, c'mon now don't be late
Take me home with you, I cannot wait
California, don't be blue
I'm on my way home to see you
